Please Help Us Help Them

S.A.V.E. is a private,non-profit,volunteer,no-kill animal rescue/shelter in Ocean County NJ. We provide each stray, abandoned animal that comes in with veterinary care, spaying /neutering,care/love until they get their furever home. We also assist families when they are forced to relinquish their pets. On Oct 29th our area was devastated by Hurricane Sandy. We were bombarded with calls from residents for help to rescue family pets that were left behind. At the same time, we were contacted by the local shelter to assist & within 48 hours  we were there working with the authorities and local shelter. This has left us,even 10 months after,struggling harder than ever to continue.
