YouGiveGoods is a socially conscious, for-profit company founded with the purpose of connecting those who want to help with those who need it.

You might be surprised at how complex it is to get help to those who need it. Donating money to support a cause is easy, but it's hard to know how the money is being spent. Most people prefer to know what they are accomplishing with their good intentions. The best way we can see the good we've done is to contribute hard goods to the cause—whether that's food, clothing, or the supplies needed by food pantries, homeless shelters, animal shelters or other organizations that help others. The list of goods these organizations need to serve their missions goes on and on, and their need is constant. The challenge is that setting up, running or contributing goods to a drive is complex and time consuming.

We know there is no shortage of generous people in the United States, and we felt that if we applied twenty-first century technology and the transformative power of social networking, we could assist in connecting generous people and organizations with those most in need. The YouGiveGoods system makes it simple and easy to help through our e-commerce portal—you can set up drives or contribute to drives without ever having to leave your computer. In this way, we hope to transform the landscape of charitable goods contributions so that more people across the country feel empowered to help.

YouGiveGoods is owned and operated by a group of people who strongly believe in the importance of helping others in need.
